i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
much needed movie night. family cuddles and "in her shoes". i craved chocolate shortbread and excitement all day, but all i got was a renewed license. we made bananas foster but gaby ate it all. though there was still some panna cotta gelato to gobble up.

my weakness for taco trucks

street corner war veterans
self portraits in my therapist's elevator
getting lost (but knowing slightly where you are) and finding sunsets

la-la-la-la-la-la-la
today wasnt nearly as exciting as i planned, however i did get to spend the last hours of the day watching hardcore anime with in a house filled with a million fascinating clocks. i have to say naussica was definetly my least favorite japanese animated flick. princess mononoke and spirited away top them all.
i havent been able to update for a while, thankfully i just wrapped up the SATIIs and now im pretty much free. however, most everyone is gone and to be honest, i havent really been in the mood to hang out much...i mostly spend my day either swimming, napping, watching movies or baking. its actually quite wonderful.

woopah! yogurt scones! i baked lemon blueberry and cranberry orange.

they came out spledidly. not too sweet

sin tÃtulo #1
Currently,
I am in my room, sipping dandelion tea and attempting to remind myself of everything that has happened during the first dreamy summer days.
I am in my room, sipping dandelion tea and attempting to remind myself of everything that has happened during the first dreamy summer days.
You see, this is not my first attempt at blogging. At first it was the xanga, then of course the myspace, the buzznett(which i still own?) a quick try at blogspace, the facebook (still a fan?), and the flickr (worth it).
After careful consideration on journaling and a brief cautionary notification about the dangers of internet preditors by my local network news provider, i have decided that the most memorable and effective way for me to chronicle my life at this point is to do so by freely displaying it publically on the internet.
perfectly sensible? perhaps not, but i figure looking at all my posts and pictures exactly five years from today will be extremely entertaining.
So without further explanation or ado, I present to you the last senseless days of may and the first of hopefully many effervesent days of summer.
Most of the days at the beginnging were as follows: sleep, praise the lord for the end of finals, more sleep, hang with friends, wonder where my boyfriend was, eat something, and more sleep. It was both relaxing and extremely boring. Its really a horrible idiosyncracy, being easily bored. its the inability to appreciate whatever is going on in my life. Thats actually why I like the school year, something to keep me busy. However, I am trying to fill up my summer scheduale with exciting things. though, in the past days, ive attedend parties and graduations, gatherings and so on.
Earlier, before finals, was my boyfriends graduation. Pablo and his bestsest friend since fetushood had a joint grad party complete with paella and precious cousins/moms.
walk in, walk out.
hawaiin umbrella themed accesories are always a must
oooggggggggoodenss.
later on the week i treked to sugar land to my cousin's grad party.
pecan grove...you can't get this in houston
we try not to be so precious...it just a villagomez thing
AHGGHH!!!! best part of the day. gaby tried to double pierce her ear! it hurt too much to do the left one. mom went NUTS. mmm, i just wanted to take this picture so i would never forget the rebellious child that is my sister.
